Dear Family & Friends,
Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, if someone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. …” NET Mark 11:22-24
“Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” Wow! Can you imagine what might happen for the Kingdom of God if we prayed with that kind of faith and attitude? Or may be we should ask, “Why don’t we pray with that kind of faith?” Are we afraid of the results of our prayers? Are we afraid of the responsibilities that God might give us if we pray believing that God will move mountains or change our city?
Pray for our training this week and next. We will be in training from Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00 with homework. This will be a challenge with having the kids’ homework and schedules as well. We will need plenty of energy, brain power, and patience.
The Good News & Eternal Light congregations are making plans for an evangelistic outreach for Christmas. Pray as well for those that will be invited to attend.
We are praising God that the long awaited building permit has arrived for the Home of God’s Love. The home can now begin construction on the new facility that will keep them within the government’s regulations for a children’s home.
Praise God with us for an opportunity to begin another Bible storying class. The details are not all worked out yet, but a new Christian wants to start a class with people from her workplace. We hope this will lead to the opportunity to win people to Christ and disciple them.
