Dear Family & Friends,
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.” Colossians 1:15-16
Our God is all powerful and worthy of our service to Him. Even though He is the invisible God, He is real. We were created through Him and for Him, so our lives should reflect His character and be dedicated to His glory. Pray with us that we can be such a great witness that the people of Taiwan will forsake their visible gods for the true God.
We continue to praise God for the blessing of our grandchildren. Thank you for praying for Bethany’s family. Cheyenne did come home early last week as well. Please continue to pray for the family as they all adjust to having two having new borns in the house.
The first meeting of the new Bible story group did not happen. They decided to wait until after Chinese New Year to begin. This did not surprise us in the least. We ask that you continue to pray for the beginning of this new group. We do not want Satan to use this festive time keep it from starting.
We have asked you to pray for Bao Gwei in the past. She was once a His Hands mom. She now is married and has a little girl. Her husband lost a brother this past fall from cancer and now his sister is to have cancer surgery this week. He is very down about life at this time. Bao Gwei has asked that Paul Pan and John visit her husband. She hopes we can bring him some hope about life. Please pray for the Lord to give us wisdom as we plan to visit them on Tuesday morning.
We ask that you pray for the family of Raymond Hayden. He went to be with the Lord this past Thursday after an extended illness. His daughter, Tina, is a very close friend our family. Tina is like an aunt to my brother’s children. Raymond was much like a grandfather to them as well. Please pray for their comfort.
