There is a small core group of us here in central BiH who are believing that God may choose to draw many to himself in the coming years in unexpected and nontraditional ways. As for us, we just want to be faithful to work as smart as we can and leave the results to God’s sovereignty. Two days ago six of us discussed how we might reach all of BiH with the gospel through hundreds of reproducing house churches. Pray for many churches to be birthed in the coming years.  Our colleagues have started a discovery bible study with a young women who seems very enthusiastic to learn more about God.

One thing about living in Japan is the long commutes to get around to places.  One of my friends, Hajime, with whom I once tried to have a regular Bible study with, lives quite a ways away (at least an hour and a half commute, one-way).  There is an opportunity though to introduce him to a house church meeting much closer to him.  Pray that this introduction will work out.  Hajime is not yet a Christian, but pray that he will soon make a decision for Christ.

JW had fluid removed so hopefully this will enable him to breathe better. He is extremely weak. We praise God that JW is allowed to eat bland diet in addition to liquids after 3 weeks of fasting. We give thanks & praise for caregivers who have treated him so kind & dignified. Pray for healing & strength to return. Pray for stamina for Rosaline, restful sleep at night, safety on roads

K and J’s teammates had a very successful interview where they were able to be faithful in their testimony by being bold for Christ, but were also protected in the process as well. The final outcome was that their business was publicly endorsed and they as individuals were legitimized within the community! This means so much in terms of ministry and the ability to try some new things—something their teammates have been waiting and praying for for a long time! Praise the Lord!!

Prayer – Please continue to pray for my friends here. I pray that Jesus will make himself known to them in indisputable ways.

• · Prayer – Please pray that God will multiply my finances.
• · Prayer – For my previous landlord and property manager hearts to be soften towards Jesus. The landlord has given my legal adviser new reasons to not return the money.
• · Praise/Prayer – I’ve reached the stage in language learning that I must now learn grammar. This is a good thing in that my pronunciation is not bad and that grammar is a must in order to speak a logical sentence. The bad thing is that I think the grammar is harder than English …and there are some things in English that I still don’t get.
• · Prayer – For me and my team with the upcoming holidays. It’s not easy to be away from “home” or family during this time. Thanksgiving and Christmas are generally like any other day here.
• · Praise – that God has me here at this time. Most of the time it is a joy to be here, doing this.
