The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. Acts 28:15
Paul met the disciples from Rome in a market on the Appian Way. This road still crosses Italy from Rome to the southern city of Brindisi. Today there are efforts to proclaim the gospel message in the towns and cities along this road. However, the evangelical believers are less than 2% of the entire Italian population. Dot believes that God has called her to minister and make disciples in part of the world.
The ten mile marker of the ancient Appian Way lies just across a vineyard from where Dot lives and ministers in the “Castelli Romani” area. She and her teammates are seeking people open to the Gospel message, who will become disciples of Christ and disciple-makers themselves. Her team hopes and prays they are a catalyst of a Disciple Making Movement that will spread southward on this historic road.
Thank you for being a partner with her in this God given endeavor.
