There are about 3700 Chinese students on the University of Michigan campus each year. Many of them have never heard the gospel before. Sharing the gospel in China is difficult due to religious restrictions and laws prohibiting believers from meeting in person or online. With so many Chinese students coming to America to study, there is an excellent opportunity to share the gospel with them and train them to share the gospel with others when they return to China.
We are working to disciple Chinese students while they are here in America. Our goal is to disciple them in a way that prepares them for the challenges they will face living as Christians in China. Students will come to know the Lord and understand their faith as it relates to family and career. They will also be prepared to partner with the local church in China and navigate reverse culture shock.
