Settlement

Monday, July 24th, 2006

Daphne and I joined her mom and step-dad for a quick trip to Nashville, TN area this weekend.  We enjoyed seeing Daphne’s family and a quick visit with Ryan.
Daphne is feeling very good.  Her foot and ankle is swollen, but we think that is due to using it more.
I just received a settlement check for […]

More Confirmation

Wednesday, July 19th, 2006

Dr. Arnold (Maybe he is a long lost brother to you Mike) gave us more confirmation that God is healing Daphne.  He said normally they use a minimum of 6 weeks antibiotic treatment, but in Daphne’s case they would only do 4 weeks.  He said it looked like they got to the infection before it […]

God Is SOOOOOOOOO Good

Monday, July 17th, 2006

July 4th was truly a day of Independence for us.  All the visits by so many of God’s special people along with all their prayers has given us FREEDOM from oppression.  Satan is in retreat and we know we are covered by the blood of Jesus.
Daphne had a GREAT trip to Noblesbville.  She really enjoyed […]

Doctor visit and a good day

Tuesday, July 11th, 2006

Yesterday, Monday, Daphne went for her first visit to the Ortho Clinic.  After a 4 hour wait she saw a nurse practitioner for 10 minutes.  She removed five stitches and wrapped the wound back up.  Said come back next Tue. and we’ll take out the other stitches.
We did finally see the x-rays and realized just […]

I had a good trip to Beech St. Christian Church in Ashland, KY this weekend.  Beech St. is my home congregation. I told them the way you know you are back home is that in two weeks I turn 48 years old and when I come to Beech St. I am still Timmy!
Wish Daphne could […]

Everyday A Little Better

Saturday, July 8th, 2006

Daphne continues to be very weak.  Two surgeries in two weeks has taken its toll.  She has also said that the reality of the accident and all she has been through is setting in and she is very emotional.  Please pray for her spirits to be lifted and for her energy to increase.
Today I leave […]

home again

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

We are home again.  Arrived Wednesday about 7 PM. Just in time to say happy birthday to Daphne’s step-father, JW.  He is 86 today.
While in the hospital, Daphne was given some strong antibiotics to arrest the MRSA bacteria.  She will continue these drugs orally for several more weeks.  One of the pills costs about $12 […]

Infection

Tuesday, July 4th, 2006

The cultures are in and the news is not good.  Daphne has a very resilient infection with a name so long I wont attempt to spell it.  The shortened name is MRSA.  The antibiotics they have given Daphne so far have been to no avail against this very strong bug.  Mon. evening they will start […]

Surgery Part 2

Monday, July 3rd, 2006

Sunday July 2.  We did not make it to church as planned,
Daphne’s fever continued to spike as high as 103.5 and I phoned the hospital again today.  They had her brought back to the ER.  All blood tests, urine analysis, X-rays came out negative and she did not have a fever when we arrived.  However, […]
