Thank you for being a part of finishing the task in Laos by reaching the Unengaged, Unreached People Groups with the Gospel.
In 2017, it was thought that there were 58 unengaged, unreached people groups (UUPGs) remaining in Laos. The Final58 Project was developed to get the Gospel to those groups. A subsequent survey by Final58 indicated there were actually 158 UUPGs in Laos.
Through the Final58 project, Lao national missionaries are trained and coached in the fruitful practices of making disciples and planting churches. They are sent out in pairs to remote villages to share the Gospel and teach people to follow Jesus. As of December, 2020, 105 national missionaries had engaged 83 different people group with confessions of faith in 56 groups and 26 house churches reported.
Of the 158 original UUPGs, there are:
- 18 UUPGs with churches planted by National Missionary teams
- 74 other groups being engaged by the Final 58
- 32 groups engaged by the local church and other ministries
- 10 groups later determined to to be already engaged or part of an identified people group
- 24 UUPGs left to engage
Donations of any amount are appreciated. The cost of supporting a Lao missionary for one month is $250.
