Dear Family & Friends,

“Jesus said to him, ‘Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are the people who have not seen and yet have believed.’”  John 20:29

Recently my daily Bible reading brought me to the resurrection of Jesus.  While reading this passage I was convicted by these words.  The Spirit seemed to say, “But they can see you.”  My mind then went to James 1:22, “But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.”  Immediately another verse came to mind from James 2:26, “For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.”  John wrote about the life of Jesus that people might believe and be saved.  James reminds us that living out our faith proves that it is a saving faith.  There is two-fold truth here.  It is not only saving for you, but potentially for those that see how you live as well.  The witness of our lives can bring others to desire to know Jesus too.  Join us in praying that our lives can bring people to faith in Jesus.

We are so excited to share with you that Ellinor’s first decree came in the mail on Friday!  It is only a matter of time and she will be in the arms of her forever family.  Join us in praising God for the first decree and continuing to pray that the final decree will come as soon as possible.  It would be wonderful if her family could have her home for Christmas.

This Wednesday John will help start a new discipleship group in a business downtown.  We reported that this would happen, but it has taken several weeks for those he is partnering with to get everything arranged.  Miss Tsai, the owner, and three or four others are starting the group.  They hope to use this lunch time group to reach out to their co-workers as well as to provide a consistent time of fellowship and accountability for themselves.

The Christians in Andrew’s class are planning to start a bible study group at school.  Join us in praying for them to as they hope to have many of their non-Christian friends participate as well.

Thank you for being such great prayer warriors.

God Bless,

John & Cheryl
