Dear Family & Friends,
“For God is king of the whole earth. Sing a well-written song. God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.” Psalm 47:7-8 NET
If God is still on His throne and reigns over everyone and everything, why is the world in such a mess? This question or ones like it are not new. They have always been on the minds of people, both believers and non-believers. We must remember that God views the situation in the world much differently than we do. He sees how the covid-19 virus will impact humanity as a whole. He also sees how it will affect each of us individually. He knows what is best. It is a challenge for us as believers to trust God as we wait to see how everything works out. Pray with us for the faith to trust God to do what is best.
Samantha Sanford has had a long stint in the hospital. After her first surgery she went home after seven days, but had to return to the hospital to have some very large veins removed that also were full of tumors. After a 13 day stay in the hospital a second time, Sam is finally back home just today. She has had to have physical therapy on her leg to regain feeling, strength, and use. Praise the Lord she is getting better. We also praise God that she does not have cancer. Please pray for Sam, Chris, and their children as she continues to recuperate.
Please pray for the placement of two of the babies at THoGL. Hopefully, they can go to their adoptive families in about a week to begin a six month trial period. Please pray for this time to go well and for the judge to approve the adoptions at the end of that time.
We are so grateful for the protection that God has provided to us during the pandemic, as well as everyone at THoGL. The children basically just go to school and return home. We cannot have visitors at the THoGL nor can we take the children out for other activities. Please pray for continued protection.
We ask that you pray for Andrew and Moriah as we try to help them make plans for the future. Andrew hopes to go to school in the fall in the US. Moriah is planning on working in child care. We need to help her find a place to live and a job. Andrew will need to find work as well.
