Sovereign Lord, Your Word speaks of nations and kingdoms rising against each other. There will be great earthquakes, famines, and diseases in various places as well as fearful events and great signs from heaven. Your people will be persecuted and brought under much trial and tribulation on account of their witness in the name of Jesus. You tell us to be ready to defend ourselves because You will give us words and wisdom against our adversaries. Father, give us holy determination to be your witnesses to those around us in this hour. We pray that we stand firm in our salvation so that Your Gospel spreads and meets the needs of families, neighbors, communities, and nations. (Luke 21:10-19)
Lao National Missionaries returned to Thongsam to encourage believers there and met another group of people. They shared the Gospel, and four people believed. They taught and encouraged these new Christians until late that night and prayed to bless them before leaving the village. Pray that the Gospel multiplies among the Yoy!
Pray that the Druze people of Israel would hear and embrace the Gospel. There are 4 villages in the Golan where more than 20,000 Druze live. Only two Druze living in the region are Christians. The Druze practice a secret religion rooted in Islam and they are very resistant to the Gospel. A Team Expansion worker and the leadership of a church in Texas sensed the darkness all around as they prayer walked through the four Druze villages. In some places, the darkness and oppression were almost overwhelming, and they experienced hostility rather than welcome. Pray for a mighty move of God to break down barriers of darkness, secrecy, and oppression so that the Light of Jesus illuminates these four Druze villages and others as well.
Join T and A in Central Asia in praying for a disciple-making movement in the city in which they live. Pray for their teammates and for their language learning. Pray that the Lord will give them the language. Pray especially for their speaking and listening skills to improve. Pray that those with whom they have built relationships will receive salvation. Pray for the media ministry to lead them to many Jesus-seeking people! Ask for their faith to grow and for their marriage to grow even stronger.
