“For freedom in Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1) There are 20 million Malay Muslims, but there is not a single Malay fellowship making disciples and reaching their own people. There are workers living among them and seeking to love and reach out to them, with little response to the Gospel. Pray that 2020 would be the year that a spiritual breakthrough happens to the glory and praise of God. Pray that Malay Muslims would find freedom in Jesus Christ.

A national missionary was on his way home to his village in the very south of Laos in preparation for impending lockdown. He made it as far as Four Water Village with his teammate. Four Water village is home to the Makong Pua people and home to his teammate. They settled into lockdown mode. Since the end of March, these two workers have brought 25+ people to faith, including village police and the village headman. Now they are worshiping in homes, house by house. Praise God! Ask for favor and growth of the church among the Makong Phoua people.

Pray for the Serbs in Bosnia to receive and read God’s Word and other Christian materials.

Pray for translation projects. Pray for the team to complete the Old Testament. Pray that other books now on shelves around the country continue to sell and be used to bring people into the Kingdom. Pray for ways to use media to advertise their existence to get even more people reading and asking questions.

Pray for Scott and Angie Pagel in Taiwan, that they would feel the Lord’s peace and display Christ’s peace and love to those around them, taking every opportunity to share the reason for the hope that they have.
