Team Expansion General Request
Recently, Typhoon Odette devastated the Philippines in an area where Team Expansion workers are multiplying disciples. There is so much to do and so many people to help. Every day appeals come in for help. Pray for wisdom to know where to begin. It is an overwhelming job, but the words “Be still and know that I am God” remind our workers to rest in Him. Pray that our workers and their volunteers will be able to rest in Christ during overwhelming destruction and opportunity for outreach.
Team Expansion Worker
Join Dionna Linn in Spain in praying for growth and wisdom for the group meeting in Nívar (Javi, Araceli, Jesús, Julio, and herself). Pray for a solid and consistent Bible study to be formed in Alfacar with Jorge. Lift prayer walking efforts in the town of Viznar. Pray for Simon and Anabel in this season of waiting for his court date to be rescheduled. God has put Simon in contact with several unbelievers (like Alfredo and Carmen) with whom he has been able to share. May Simon and Anabel continue. Keep lifting Magda – may she continue to take steps towards repentance and faith in Jesus. Pray for a smooth transition for media ministry and meaningful conversations to surge from the first ads.
Pray for More Workers
Praise God for relief funding for the Philippines and volunteers to conduct aid. Pray for more harvest workers, disciple makers, and church planters to appear in this hour of need.
Unreached People of the Day
Most of the Kanembu are illiterate, the few who know how to read and write only know how to read and write in Arabic due to the Islamic schools in the region, even though the Kanembu do not speak Arabic. Would you join us in praying for 16 Christian educators to teach the Kanembu how to read and write in their language that God has given them?
