“The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’” (Matthew 25:5-6)
Father, thank You for opening doors in the UK to serve among the Turks. Thank You for what You showed us in surveying the land. For several years, we have prayed for a breakthrough in bureaucracy to allow workers in. It’s been a long time coming but thank You for a clearer picture of the situation. We thank You for a team that is preparing to go and call out to the Turks in the UK, “Come meet the Bridegroom!”
Team Expansion Worker
Join Dot Elliott in Italy in praying for these requests:
-Nives. She has so many health issues. She needs a couple different surgeries. She can’t eat much of anything. The biggest issue is she needs to find a place to live because they are being removed from their apartment. (The old landlord is in prison for making apartments out of storage areas in his apartment complex. The city now in charge of them.)
-the last six weeks of school at ICA
-ICA’s end of school retreat this month
-Dot’s grandsons and their situations
-Vittoria is having severe back issues. Pray that they can figure out how to help her get relief.
Praise:
-The five months that Yessica was in Rome for her overseas internship from The Ark Christian Ministries. She was a blessing to the team and to ICA.
-Chiara has come to the Bible study with the team. She wants to continue.
-all the holidays in April.
-Maria Rita. Dot met her a couple of years ago at a chess event. She came to Dot’s house to learn more about English class. She was there over two hours and left with a Bible and a place to start reading.
-Dot’s TESOL class is finished. The certificate is in the mail!
Pray for More Workers
Thank You, Father, for responders and relief workers sharing the Gospel and showing Christ’s love to people in Turkey affected by earthquakes. Lord of the Harvest, continue to send Your harvesters to Turks.
