“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.’” (Jeremiah 29:11)
It is often difficult to share Christ among the Zarma people. Many Zarma people believe that Christianity is only a religion for white people and have therefore closed themselves off from even listening to Bible stories. Father, You have plans for the Zarma, plans for their spiritual welfare, and You want to give them a future hope in Jesus. We pray for a breakthrough among the Zarma people. We ask You to open their ears and minds to the truth of the Gospel to dwell deeply within them. We ask You, Father, that one day the Zarma people would recognize that following Jesus is for all people. Father, we pray for a disciple-making movement among the Zarma. Father, we pray for local groups to multiply naturally and simply.
Team Expansion Worker
Ross Najmon (International Services) requests prayer for the Finance Team as they continue to develop a process to manage projects well. This is new territory, and it is an area that is growing quickly!
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more laborers among the Zarma people so they might know Your promises and put their hope in Jesus.
