Responsibilities
- Teaching English
- Conduct 20-25 English lessons per week, emphasizing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Implement engaging and creative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and enjoyment.
- Develop lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students at the assigned grade level.
- Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment.
- Set clear expectations and guidelines to promote a structured and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaboration & Professional Development
- Work closely with fellow teachers to exchange ideas and enhance instructional methods.
- Participate in faculty meetings, school activities, and collaborative projects.
- Engage in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay updated on effective teaching practices.
- Adapt lesson plans as needed to better address students’ learning needs.
- Monitoring Student Progress
- Regularly assess student learning through quizzes, activities, and assignments.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Communicate with parents to keep them informed about their child’s academic development.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Supervise students during break times or lunch as required.
- Assist with school events and perform other duties assigned by the administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in English or Education Required
- Experience in Education or working with kids is preferred.
- A deep love and commitment to following the ways of Jesus.
