Responsibilities
- Teaching English & Literature
- Deliver 20-25 English lessons per week, focusing on advanced reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Guide students in analyzing and interpreting literary works, including novels, poetry, plays, and essays.
- Teach critical thinking and analytical writing skills through discussions, essays, and research projects.
- Utilize creative and engaging teaching methods to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of literature.
- Design lesson plans that challenge and support students of varying skill levels.
- Classroom Management
- Establish a structured, respectful, and engaging learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity.
- Set and enforce clear expectations to promote a positive and focused classroom atmosphere.
- Encourage open discussions and debates to enhance students’ communication and reasoning skills.
- Collaboration & Professional Development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections and enhance instructional strategies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives.
- Stay updated on best practices in teaching English and literature by attending workshops and training programs.
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of students.
- Monitoring Student Progress
- Assess student comprehension and analytical skills through exams, essays, presentations, and discussions.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student growth in writing and literary analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding academic performance.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as assemblies, lunch, or study hall, as needed.
- Support school events, extracurricular activities, and student initiatives.
- Perform other duties assigned by the administration to contribute to the overall success of the school.

- Bachelors in English or Education Required
