It is quite common for new believers to experience persecution from their families and communities. This can often cause people to lose heart. Father, we pray against discouragement. We pray for new believers to find their hope and peace in Jesus. We pray for the believing community to be like family to one another as they learn what it means to be brothers and sisters in Christ.
Team Expansion Worker
-This summer J and K had a substantial change as they said good-bye to Big Blue. They will miss Big Blue (their van).
-During the summer, when J was in the US, a dear friend gave him a full drum set to bring back to Thailand for R. After some creative packing (thanks to YouTube), he was able to get most of the set back to Thailand. The rest will come soon. Thank God for this blessing for their son!
-Looking back, J and K are so thankful they did not cling to their ten-year plan. It never would have worked. They would have missed seeing God do so many wonderful things in the lives of people in Thailand and in the lives of their family.
