He previously served as a prayer specialist for LifeWay Christian Resources; as minister of prayer at First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia; and in two pastorates. He is the author of And the Place Was Shaken: How to Lead a Powerful Prayer Meeting, House of Prayer: Prayer Ministries in Your Church, and several other books.

Join us for a focused, in-person weekend of prayer, worship, and Scripture-centered teaching at
Team Expansion’s 2026 Prayer Weekend. From Friday evening through Saturday afternoon,
we will gather at Emerald Hills to seek God together—interceding for missionaries, the unreached,
and God’s work among the nations.
This weekend is intentionally designed to practice prayer, not just talk about it.
Through guided prayer times, worship, teaching from Scripture, and interactive prayer experiences
across the campus, we will slow down, listen, and respond together.
Space is limited to preserve a participatory, prayer-centered environment.
Featured Speaker & Leaders
John Franklin
Author of And the World Was Shaken and speaker at last year’s Connect Gathering, John will lead
teaching and workshops rooted in Scripture, helping us pray with greater clarity and biblical depth
for the unreached and for missionaries.
Ryan & Faith Stapleton
Ryan and Faith will lead worship throughout the weekend, creating space for reflection, response,
and corporate prayer.
Ron Friesen
Ron will guide participants through the Amazing G-Race for the Unreached, an
interactive prayer experience using the Emerald Hills prayer shelters and unreached people groups.
Schedule Overview
Friday, April 24 | 6:00–9:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – Registration & light snacks
- 7:00 PM – Welcome, worship, opening message, and guided corporate prayer
Dinner is not provided. Guests who prefer a full meal should eat before arriving.
Saturday, April 25 | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Morning worship, teaching, and prayer
- Scripture-based workshops focused on praying for the unreached and for missionaries
- Lunch provided
- Amazing G-Race for the Unreached (interactive prayer activity)
- Afternoon worship, teaching, prayer, and closing session
Some prayer activities will take place outdoors on the Emerald Hills campus, weather permitting.

Who is this event for?
Adults who desire to grow in prayer and engage God’s heart for the unreached. No childcare is provided.
Is space limited?
Yes. Registration is capped to maintain a focused, participatory environment.
Are meals included?
Light snacks are provided Friday evening. Snacks and lunch are provided Saturday. Dinner is not included.
What should I bring?
A Bible, a journal, and comfortable clothing. Be prepared for some outdoor prayer activities.
Are accommodations provided?
No. Lodging is not provided for this event. Participants are responsible for making their own accommodations.
