Ten Days of Prayer for Ten Countries: Sudan Prayer Fuel
Father, we thank You for what You have done and will continue to do in Sudan.
We pray for the thirteen million displaced people and more than twenty-five million in crisis levels of hunger. We ask You to provide shelter, protection from violence, and opportunities for families to reunite. Father, we ask You to provide food, clean water, and medical care through those with a heart to be Your hands and feet in this desperate place.
Father, we pray for Your church in Sudan suffering persecution. We ask You to give them Your strength to stand strong as they trust You for daily shelter and provision. Father, we pray believers suffering injustice may know Your hope and Your peace that passes understanding. We pray You will heal both physical and emotional needs of those experiencing trauma.
Father, we pray for peace in Sudan and for the war to end. We ask You to intervene in hearts and minds and that all parties involved would seek to lay down arms and find peaceful solutions. Father, we ask Your favor upon those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.
Father, we pray for spiritual breakthrough in Sudan. We pray for the Muslim majority to encounter Jesus through dreams, vision, and the testimony of local believers. We ask Your Spirit to raise up house churches that multiply despite persecution and displacement. Father, raise up a body of believers that can function in the giftings and roles listed in 1 Corinthians 12.
Team Expansion Worker
-M and C in Central Asia just learned that the property they wanted to buy for the demonstration farm is in an estate dispute. It is unlikely they will be able to buy it. They are disappointed about this but are praying that the Lord has another place for them.
Please pray the Lord will lead them to the right property. Their goal is to buy a property by April and then have three months to work on it before moving in July. Also, continue to pray that the Lord will provide the necessary funds.
-Please continue to pray for their veterinary employee named S. His daughter is afflicted with a psychosis that is devastating their family. Her diagnosis is unclear and treatment options seem limited.
-M and C found a website designer for their new Doula Association website. He also is a cross-cultural worker and teaches marginalized students web design as
his ministry.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thank You for working through several compassionate agencies providing relief efforts in Sudan. Father, send out more workers to share the Gospel and the ministry of reconciliation with the people of Khartoum. Father, we pray Your message would reach people of Sudan through radio broadcasts, digital media, and personal relationships.
