WDM 2026 Vision Workshop
Explore proven wholistic models that empower communities to thrive and disciples to multiply
Whole Disciple Making (WDM) combines key elements of tried and tested mission strategies to live out the gospel, multiply disciples and display the Kingdom of God to a desperate world.
It is a multi-faceted mission strategy using effective tools like Community Health Evangelism (CHE), Integral Disciple Making (IDM), Samaritan strategy (Harvestfoundation.org), CoramDeo (Worldview and the Kingdom of God) and decades of real-life experience from trainers to engage communities physically, spiritually, mentally and socially with the Good News.
With faith and identity in Christ as the springboard for whole life and whole community change, transformation takes place as disciples multiply and live out their faith. Come hear stories, participate and learn from those who have used these principles in their ministries around the world.
This is much broader than standard classroom instruction. It is facilitated learning from the life and ministry experience already in the group, it means using different teaching formats for different learning styles, it involves discovering new ways to engage communities, it is going outdoors to work in a garden, it uses role-playing to better grasp problems, it includes active instruction using all 5 senses. Come be a part and “work out your faith” with a good stretch – as a disciple who will make more disciples!
This Vision Workshop will give you a good overview of the training that features Community Health Evangelism (CHE), giving you some practical tools and a jumping-off point for future in-depth training already in use for many years around the world.
WDM training taught by experienced practitioners including Global CHE Network’s Coordinator, Terry Dalrymple. For twenty-nine years, Terry has championed the cause of the multidimensionally poor, training and mobilizing workers for transformational community development using a strategy called Community Health Evangelism (CHE). After a decade of service in the Philippines, Terry pioneered for Medical Ambassadors International in 9 countries in Southeast Asia, working together with partners to establish CHE programs in more than 400 communities. Later as International Coordinator at Medical Ambassadors, he guided the expansion of a growing global movement. In 2009, Terry founded the Global CHE Network (CHE), an alliance of organizations in 115 countries working together to bring wholistic transformation to a million villages. Terry is married to Jeannie who serves with him at the GCN office. They have three married children and four grandchildren.
