Ramadan February 17-March 19
“Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you.’ (Galatians 3:8)
Jesus, reveal to Muslims in Dearborn that You are the path to God, not Islam. You are the fulfillment of this promise. Instead of justifying their faith on their own through good works, they can walk in the blessings promised to Abraham so long ago.
Team Expansion Worker
-Açık Kapı Kilisesi (Open Door Church) is one of the larger congregations in a city in Central Asia. An average of seventy-five people attend weekly. It is a truly international church. Folks from many nations attend. As far as KG knows, the only service in this church is the only one in the city conducted in both English and the local language. Please pray that the church would be increasingly intentional about reaching the community and making disciples.
-K has seen and heard about numerous decisions by Türks to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Pray that this would be the start of revival.
-The month of Ramadan began on February 19. This can be a time when Muslims tend to be more spiritually open – including conversations as well as dreams and visions. -Pray K will live out the verse in 1 Peter 3:15, which says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
