Father, believers are uniquely poised to meet essential needs right now. As always, Team Expansion’s relief work is connected to long-term discipleship. At just one Afghan refugee camp where partners serve, the number of families has grown from 550 to 3,500 in a brief time. Across the region, nearly 150 camps are receiving new returnees from Iran and Pakistan. Families are arriving with nothing – many with sick children, elderly parents, and urgent medical needs. Critical needs are food, clean water, medicine, hygiene supplies, tents, and blankets.

Thousands of Lebanese families have fled their homes because of the continuous bombing in Beirut. They fled with only what they can carry, sleeping in their cars. Our local partner church has opened their doors and are showing the love of God in this time of crisis. Critical needs: food, hygiene supplies, mattresses, and blankets.

We pray for Iranian, Afghan, and Lebanese families displaced by current wars in their area. We ask You, LORD, to provide resources to help with practical needs and provide workers to share the Gospel of hope and renewal.
