Imagine you have a small drone helicopter aircraft the size of a frisbee. Picture the powerful lense beaming you real-time views of a mountain tribe in Southeast Asia, where groups of a half-dozen or so villagers are hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ for the first time in all of history. What would that scene look like?

Probably, it would look a lot like the picture shown here.

What you’re seeing in this image is a group of men from the Mushi (pseudonym, because of the persecution that could come their way) tribe, hearing the Gospel for the first time ever. Teams of National Missionaries (NMs) have been faithfully preaching in 12 Mushi villages. The Mushi are one of the Unengaged Unreached People Groups (UUPGs) for whom Team Expansion has been praying for the past year.

In one village, the NMs prayed for a tribal member who was desperately ill and, in a kind of miracle, God answered their prayers. The new friend became well overnight. He has brought people to faith in several places. In one village, a new and growing micro-church has begun. Please ask the Lord to give a deeper understanding and greater obedience and maturity to these new believers. Please ask that the team would be able to disciple the new believers in each of the villages and that the Lord would grow His work there. Please pray for the NMs on the Mushi team: Dee, Vonnie, and Shy. (Note: We prayed for a grant to be given to sponsor this work and, through God’s power, after resubmitting the grant application a half-dozen times, the foundation gave a huge gift to help sponsor the telling of the Good News in this Southeast Asian land.) Please also join us in giving thanks for that financial windfall that is making possible this great work. It’s a “win” for churches and believers everywhere.

Want to begin intentionally praying with us for unreached people and the workers trying to reach them? Join the Team Expansion Prayer Force (we’ll also send you a free Prayer Force window cling as our thanks).
