The Final 58 team has completed the training of a second batch of Lao National Missionaries. New recruits were sent out without any resources (as Jesus sent out his disciples in Luke 10), to rely upon the hospitality of those they meet while sharing the Gospel. Praise God for protecting these partners in the Gospel. (More on The Final 58)

Pray for the Khmer in Cambodia. “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the ligh.t” (Luke 8:16) Father, we pray that disciples among the Khmer would be bright lights on stands before their family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. We pray that many in Cambodia will be drawn to the light they see in Your followers.

Pray with Matthew and Sheri Smith (England) that their first baby will continue to be healthy and that everything will go well as the due date quickly approaches. Ask God to open the hearts of A and S and that their whole families would come to know Jesus. Pray that the relationships that Matthew and Sheri are making in the parenting classes would continue to deepen and that they can share Jesus with them.

Pray for the Wutun in China, 3,300 followers of Buddhism. There are no resources and no access to hearing the Gospel. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to thrust out workers to the Wutun so they may learn that “as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him…” (Ps 103:13).
