Thank you for partnering with us in our work as community development educators and disciple makers in Central Asia. We first worked in Central Asia from 2005-2007. Since our return in 2014, we have focused our efforts on bringing community development projects to low-income rural villages.
From 2014-2023 we lived in the capital city and our development projects included: pregnancy and childbirth seminars, doula training, human and animal health community education projects, training community development leaders, developing appropriate technology, and training locals and expats in the Zume model of disciple multiplication movements.
In late 2024 we will move to a remote part of Central Asia where no foreigners live and begin a new development project with a newly formed team, essentially pioneering something new in a frontier region. The focus will be on animal health and agricultural practices. People in this remote part of the country rely solely on livestock for their livelihood. Our team will focus on improving knowledge and practices to enhance animal production. With the newly translated Handbook of Animal Health and many veterinary contacts, our goal is to train veterinarians and farmers and develop a network of progressive livestock producers.
Through this approach, we are looking for spiritually open people who wish to be trained in Disciple Making Movement strategies. There are no believers in this area and our prayer is that God will begin a Disciple-Making Movement in these villages of rural, mountainous Central Asia.
