The Communications Associate is responsible for capturing, curating, and communicating the stories of impact from Teach to Transform’s global ministry. This creative and strategic role will use photography, videography, writing, and design to bring our mission to life across platforms—from social media to donor reports. This role is ideal for a visual storyteller with a passion for missions and a heart for amplifying God’s work in the field.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Storytelling & Content Creation

• Gather and produce compelling stories from the field—highlighting transformation, training, and testimony
• Capture and edit professional-quality photos and videos during U.S. events and international trips
• Interview missionaries, local partners, and trainees to share their voices authentically

Social Media & Website Management

• Plan, create, and schedule regular content across social media platforms
• Update and maintain website content, particularly stories, blog posts, and media galleries
• Track engagement analytics and adapt content strategies accordingly

Design & Materials

• Support the creation of branded materials such as flyers, reports, newsletters, and presentations
• Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms

Donor & Partner Communication

• Work with the development team to craft stories and visuals for fundraising campaigns and impact reports
• Assist with digital newsletters, prayer updates, and donor thank-you content

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong storytelling skills through both written word and visual media
• Proficiency in photography and videography—including shooting, editing, and post-production
• Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Heart for missions and alignment with Teach to Transform’s Christian values
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (4+ trips/year)
