What a crazy concept: Each of us as followers of Christ – whether we are cross-cultural workers or not – have been assigned the same task by our Master. We are each called to take the love of Jesus to the people on OUR OWN STREETS — to leave our houses to engage our neighbors with the famous love of the Savior. Pray that God’s love compels every follower of Christ and that  the power of His Spirit equips each of us to go to the neighbors near us.

“And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” (Revelation 5:9-10) Thank you, Jesus, for your heart is for every tribe, language, people, and nation. As communities come to know You in Laos, we pray that they carry Your heart and passion for other people and nations to know You, too.

As followers of Jesus around the world are celebrating the resurrection of our Savior this month, join in praise and prayer for these specific peoples and places to hear the message of repentance and forgiveness and then respond in faith: the Serbs in Bosnia; the Khmer in Cambodia; the Druze of the Golan Heights; Ancona and Rome, Italy; the Mien of Laos; and the people of Taiwan.

Join A and R in praying for security and provision for the people among whom they serve during a time of uncertainty. Pray for a widower in one of the local churches whose only child, a four-year-old daughter, died unexpectedly.
