“So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, “Speak LORD for your servant is listening.” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.” (1 Samuel 3:9)
Quietly wait for God to call your name, to give instruction, to affirm His love for you, to encourage you. Perhaps you will hear nothing. That is okay, too, for you are spending time in His Presence. Sitting quietly with someone you love, you know that sometimes nothing needs to be said. And yet, you know what is in the other’s heart.
