Team Expansion Worker
Join Doug Lucas, President of Team Expansion, in these requests:
Pray for those who are being persecuted. Please keep praying for M and H. They, along with their two-month-old baby, are still being held in jail for apostasy and proselytization. Please pray that they will be released – but also pray for courage, faithfulness, endurance, and resilient steadfastness in the face of persecution. Several others (perhaps 7 in all?) are being held in the same East African jail. None is a Team Expansion worker, per se. But the Team Expansion workers in that city knew all of them personally, and they are helping get them food (because this jail serves no meals) and other forms of care while they are incarcerated.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Nations, we ask you for more workers to be fruitful in multiplying disciples and Gospel movements established among all peoples. As they labor, may the word of God increase and multiply with the Gospel spreading throughout whole campuses, cities, regions, and nations (Acts 13:49).
Unreached People of the Day
Azerbaijan has been on the brink of large-scale war for several months. With the threat that more violence will break out at any time, many Azerbaijani people live in constant fear. Would you join us in praying for 175 workers to go and show the Azerbaijani the love of Christ in action and in deed through meeting practical needs?
