Attempts at translating Scripture into Sylheti have been made for many decades, and portions have always been available as audio recordings or as videos, appropriate for a language which has not been written in recent times. In 2014, the entire New Testament was printed in Bengali and Sylheti Nagri. Efforts are being made to make all translated Scripture in print, audio, and video form available online. Old Testament translation continues and additional Sylheti translators are needed for forward momentum.

Father, we pray that those who have put their trust in Jesus will be built up by the translated Word. We pray for additional translators so that more Scripture will be made available soon.
