A city in Michigan now boasts the largest and most diverse Arab community in the US. Of the city’s 98,000 residents, more than 30% identify as Arab-American or claim some form of Arab descent. Team Expansion workers there ask that we pray for ministry that serves the community by offering tutoring help to students. Pray that relationships will lead to many Muslim students and their families to hear and respond to the Gospel
Prayer4Aceh engages intercessors to pray for the peoples of Aceh. Most of those living in Aceh are either farmers or fishermen. Traditional bamboo homes stand on stilts two meters high. Families use the space beneath to keep cows, sheep, goats, and chickens, or to store tools and firewood. Most new homes built today are from cement block and mortar. Pray that the peoples of Aceh might hear the message of the Master Builder and build their foundation on the Solid Rock. (Matthew 7:24-27)
Praise God that there is a Gospel presence in the small town of Gorazde! Many cities in Bosnia do not have a church or any believers living there, but in Gorazde there is a small group of faithful believers, as well as committed international workers. Praise the Lord that where two or three are gathered HE is there! (Matthew 18:20) Ask God to give the believers in Gorazde great boldness and favor in sharing their faith with their neighbors in this mostly Muslim area.
