“All that night the Lord drove the sea back.” (Exodus 14:21) In this verse, there is a comforting message showing how God works during darkness. During these days ( and nights) when prayers are being said on behalf of the Druze in the Golan, but when there doesn’t yet seem to be any fruit, God is working, just as HE did when He drove back the Red Sea so the Israelites could walk on dry ground. Whether we see evidence of it yet or not, God is at work, preparing hearts to hear the Great News that Hs Son gave his life for each of us. As we pray, we can know that God is working every bit as much “all that night” as he is during the day in ways we can see. Hearts are being changed. Lives will be saved for all eternity. Pray that we may we be as faithful in our work of prayer as God is in His. Imagine a people for whom nobody ever prayed. Just the thought brings such sadness of heart. We pray for our loved ones. We pray for ourselves. We pray for our nation. Who is praying for the Druze of Golan Heights? If we truly love the Druze and care about their eternal destiny, then we pray. “He saw that there was no man and wondered that there was no one to intercede.” (Isaiah 59:16a)

Just as Simeon proclaimed, “for my eyes have seen your salvation” when he finally saw the Messiah, pray that many Druze of the Golan Heights come to the same revelation by the work of the Holy Spirit (Luke 2:30).

Pray for wisdom for Matthew and Sheri Smith (England) to know how to continue ministering to others as the COVID restrictions once again become stricter. Pray for Jade, Vicky, and Angelina to all come to love Jesus and really recognize their need for Him.
