Every ministry to spread the Gospel and make disciples needs support from many other believers, and the most powerful help we can offer is prayer. The apostle Paul knew that and asked believers in Rome to pray to God for him, saying: “Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people there.” (Romans 15:31)
Holy Father, keep those who are working to bring Your Word to the unengaged/ unreached peoples of the world safe from hostile unbelievers. Please give the evangelists divine opportunities so their contributions may be favorably received.
