Due to the intense and long running spiritual battle going on in the region and the history of the Druze, there is great need to pray against spiritual strongholds. These strongholds are the root of all the challenges to the spread of the Gospel among the Golani Druze, and it is one of the most important ways for us to pray. Before you begin to pray against these strongholds, be sure you have put on the full armor of God and have prepared yourself for the battle you are walking into (Ephesians 6:10-18). “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house’” (1 Peter 2:5)
Thank You, Father, for choosing us who believe and follow You to be living stones. Thank You for being the great Architect, making a grand design built on the only foundation that can stand – Jesus Christ! Thank You for this movement in Rome, Italy which is a part of that design.
