For many Spaniards, Christmas is nothing more than holiday time. Many families in Spain spend a lot of time and money on entertainment. Pray that the people of Spain find Jesus and celebrate with grateful hearts the true reason for Christmas, the birth of our Savior.

Lord, we ask that you cause the soil of the Druze hearts to be as fruitful as the soil of the Golan. Lord, the Druze are like those in these verses who are:
- wandering in the desert wastes (verse 4)
- hungry and thirsty (verse 5)
- longing souls (verse 9)
- sitting in darkness (verse 10)
- crying out to God in their trouble (verse 13)
On the island of Sicily, there are many refugees arriving from all over the Mediterranean region. There are workers among these Muslim, atheist and marginal Christian refugees who are looking for people receptive to the Gospel. Pray they may accept the Gospel and go out to spread the news of God’s love to all those they meet, from their refugee friends to those who live in Italy. Pray the workers will be faithful in spreading the Gospel and training those who want to be obedient to Jesus.
