Pray for Team Expansion workers and the people they are attempting to reach with the Gospel. Pray that seeds planted during the Christmas season will be watered and nurtured by the Holy Spirit in the coming year and lead people to understand and obey the Gospel.

Praise God for using the big and the small things in our lives to reach the Druze. It might be social media Discovery Bible Study lessons which are having a greater impact than we could have imagined. It might be an encouraging verse shared in a WhatsApp group. It might be a friendship begun poolside. Or it just might be brownies served at an in-home Bible study. “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17)

As in many Asian contexts, it is difficult for people to stand out from the crowd or go against the community. Father, may the Mien believers in Laos take a bold stand for their faith, with gentleness and respect, amidst their non-believing relatives.

Pray for Z and L as they look toward a departure date to a sensitive field in January. Pray for God to open doors and hearts among the people with whom they will be living and discipling.
