Heavenly Father, thank You for allowing us to know what love is by sending Your Son, Jesus, to lay down His life for us. Thank You, Jesus, for modeling this kind of love for Your disciples. Holy Spirit, thank You for binding the global church together in love.

Father, we pray for Z, a village chief who is sympathetic to the believers in his village, yet anxious about conflict arising between religions. While sitting beside a well that the Christians in his village recently dug, Z stated, “Look, the mosque sits in crumbles where it fell many years ago, and not one person has come to repair it. But now, as soon as people in my village became Christians, they dug this well to give our people water.” Pray this well would be a meeting point for people to come and hear the Good News of Jesus. Pray that Z would find hope and fulfillment in Jesus.

Lift D and C who are serving in a very needy, sensitive field in Africa. Pray for those who have attacked them on social media and for those who have rallied against them personally. Thank God for the number of new believers and growing churches – more than at any other time in the country’s history.

Pray for More Workers

Jesus came into the world to bring Light into the darkness. Thank God for sending His only Son to be Light in a sinful world. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out more workers to be Light-bearers.
