Since Team Expansion’s vision and mission is to bring the Gospel to the unreached places of the world, creative ways to serve in these places are often needed. Thank You Father, for expanding Marketplace Ministries with teams who are running businesses around the world. Thank You for enabling a young couple in Asia to open a specialty coffee shop in a city of six million people. (0.3% Christian; 202 unreached people groups). Thank You, Father, for incredible opportunities for Gospel conversations via this coffee shop. Through interactions with vendors, employees, and customers, the couple shares the hope of Jesus in natural and meaningful ways. (They discussed Ecclesiastes, pointing out that even with all the money in the world, true satisfaction and purpose comes only through a relationship with Jesus. They explain why they do not participate in local festival worship – because as followers of Jesus, they worship Him alone. These conversations are opening doors that would have been closed without the business.)
Father, we praise You for the innovation and courage of this team and for the ways You use marketplace ministry to reach the unreached. Thank You for favor, deep relationships, and boldness.
