Ten Days of Prayer for Ten Countries: Iran Prayer Fuel
Historically known as Persia, Iran boasts one of the world’s oldest continuous major civilizations, stretching back over three thousand years. Iran’s Biblical connections run deep – it was the Persian Empire under Cyrus the Great that freed the Jewish exiles from Babylon, and the Magi who visited baby Jesus traveled from this region. Persian contributions to world culture include poetry, astronomy, mathematics, and carpet weaving. The warmth of Iranian hospitality, expressed through elaborate tea ceremonies and generous feasts, reflects a culture that values relationships and honors guests.
We thank You Father, far what You have done and will continue to do in Iran. We thank You for Tehran’s influence making it both a strategic priority for Gospel work and yet a dangerous environment for believers.
Father, we ask You to protect and expand online Christian ministries reaching Tehran. Father, we pray for a multiplication of impact of satellite programming, social media outreach, and virtual discipleship platforms that connect isolated believers and reach seeking hearts across Tehran and the country.

Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, we ask You to draw Tehran’s leaders, intellectuals, artists, and businesspeople to Yourself. Position believers in universities, media, and government institutions where they are salt and light in influential spheres.
