Father, we pray for Ruth, a young Christian mother of two small children. Recently, terrorists infiltrated their village, murdered all the men, and left the women and children face down lying in the dust. Ruth was shocked and devastated when she and her children fled their village, but her family members cruelly refused to help her, stating that this was a consequence of her becoming a follower of Christ.
A Christian widow in another town opened her home to this young family and Ruth has found community among a group of Christian widows.
Father, provide for Ruth and meet her needs. Draw near to Ruth as she draws near to You. Please comfort her. We pray her children will be trained up to love and obey You.
Team Expansion Worker
Continue to pray for the R family (International Services) who recently transitioned back to the U.S. after serving many years in southeast Asia. They are unsure of what God has in store for them. Some opportunities include replicating the work they have been doing in other countries, continuing to support the work in the country in which they have been serving many years, and setting up a Business as Mission course for Team Expansion. Pray for wisdom as God leads.
