An imam is a Muslim religious/community leader. He leads prayer in the mosque and performs other religious duties. He gives counsel and direction to his community. While Jesus was on earth, Jewish priests were among those who staunchly opposed Him and antagonized Him. Would you expect that many of them would become believers in Jesus? Yet according to Acts 6:7, that is exactly what happened! Let us believe together that through the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, Sylheti-speaking Muslim imams and imams around the world will put their faith in Jesus Christ
