Father, we ask You to remember Somalia and show Your grace, mercy, and favor.
The economic, social, and physical health of this East African nation of sixteen million people is in a terrible state. Many have died from violence and famine. Decades of chaos provided cover for pirates and terrorists. Somalia has one of the highest infant mortality rates on earth and is a leading source of refugees.
Somalia’s clan-based Islamic society is intensely intolerant of Christians, especially those with a Muslim background. Followers of Jesus have been killed. Despite the danger, Somalis turn to Jesus and gather in secret. Father, we praise You for the Somali church that grows despite severe persecution. We pray for a work of Christ among Somalis wherever they may dwell.

-A couple of missionaries are experiencing problems with either obtaining or renewing
visas. Please pray that God removes obstacles and provides strength and comfort to
them as they endure this hardship.

Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, we ask You to thrust out more workers for Your harvest fields to share the Gospel and make obedient disciples in Somalia. We ask You send out more disciple makers to engage with Somali refugees in every place they may be.
