Father, thank You for thriving churches in Venezuela. This nation that is often unstable is now a failed state with an increase in violence and scarcity of daily needs like food and medication. Political conflicts continue to drive many Venezuelans to leave for relief in other nations, with an estimated seven million people set to leave in the next few months if there is not an increase in stability. Despite many hardships, Father, Your church in Venezuela is shining brightly through the darkness. Thank You, Father, that churches throughout the country are empowered to meet needs, disciple believers, and multiply Your Kingdom.

Team Expansion Worker

  • Please pray for wisdom for B and L as a medical project continues to grow. As we travel to surrounding provinces, there are so many children in this country who need help.
  • Please pray for continued success of the new hospital in S T in southeast Asia. Praise for the staff who have happily joined. Pray for their endurance as the work is busy and challenging. Pray that the tribal groups would trust Children’s Health Care and bring their children for treatment.
  • Pray for the new Christians, that they would grow in their faith and begin to understand how to walk with Christ deeply.
  • Pray that staff would see Christ’s love in B and L and that God would bring many of them to faith in Him.
  • Pray for B and L’s older children as they study in the United States.

Pray for More Workers

Lord of the Harvest, thank You for sending a team of thirteen Pathways interns in the summer of 1986 to Venezuela. Within a year, at least five of those interns had decided to return full time.

Father, continue to send summer interns to Venezuela and other countries around the world.
