Many of the Deaf population in a northern country in Africa are considered outcasts. Often those that are deaf are no longer called by their given name but are referred to by a name that literally means “that person does not understand.” Pray for workers who are doing church planting among the deaf community to be effective. Pray for favor for the deaf Christians and pray that God would enable them to use sign language to share stories about Jesus within the deaf community. Pray that deaf people come to know the God who knows their names and loves them unconditionally.

Two Lao National Missionaries went to the northern most district of Laos near the Chinese border, to serve and share the Gospel with the Jawhoi people group. These two NMs have prayed for a partially blind lady and she was healed. They were inundated with more people coming for prayer. Pray that this opportunity for the Gospel will take root, deep and firm. “So he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” Luke 7:22-23

There are many beautiful, flowing water fountains in Italian communities. Pray John 4:13-14 over the people of Rome, Italy: “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
