Father, thank You that Your Word is not constrained by time or space. Thank You that You have used a young man living in Perea to transport Your Word from there to Yemen. Thank You that others in that highly resistant country have learned the Truth about Jesus. Thank You, Father, for how You will multiply and bear fruit by the tiny percentage of evangelical Christ followers.
Team Expansion Worker
From the K family in southeast Asia:
While the team from Compassion was with us, they got to see God grant us favor with the leaders
of the village. We visited the village two times to deliver cleaning supplies which were donated by the Asia Disaster Foundation. On both of those visits, the village leaders let us pray for them and explain that this help was coming from churches.
On the last day we visited the village, one of the village leaders asked if we would be willing to
come back again. He explained that there were about ten elderly and disabled people in the
village whom he would like us to visit. With a smile and a lot of hope in our hearts we said “Yes! we
would love to.”
The village leader also asked if they could come to join in a Christmas celebration; but we said that
we would bring Christmas to their village, and he was extremely excited!
We are expectant to see what God will do with this invitation. Invitations like this open a door for us to bring the hope of Jesus into places where His hope has never been known before. We ask that you join us in praying for this village and this opportunity. Pray that God’s light would
shine brightly in a place which is dark because we know that, where the light shines, darkness is pushed back.
