Some believers in “Perea” regularly prayer walk in pairs through their neighborhoods, praying for their neighbors as they walk. A child’s toy left in the yard might prompt prayer for a healthy family. As these believers encounter people, they offer to pray for them. People are often receptive to being prayed for; even if they are not, they are usually open to conversation. These prayers and these conversations often become opportunities to share the Gospel and the believers’ experiences with a loving God. Father, we ask You to bring believers who pray and walk “Perea” into contact with neighbors who seek You and with whom You have prepared to receive the Gospel. We ask Your Spirit to move in their conversations.
Team Expansion Worker
Together with the Carpathian team, ZS and team finished preparing the illustrated book of Jonah for publication (it will be printed accompanied with the Ukrainian translation of the text) and continued translating the book of Acts.
The Eastern European Vlakh team started working on the gospel of Mark.
The Crimean, Lovari, and Central Ukr Vlakh teams finished translating 1 Peter and began working on 2 Peter. As the war drags on and people become more and more exhausted by the tensions in the society and beyond the country’s borders, the message of God’s goodness and the need to persevere with the mind firmly fixed on God’s provision and help in the times of adversity may very well be the only lifeline which is able to pull them through hard times.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, send out more believers to soften the soil in Perea by walking and praying for communities to come to know and follow Jesus.
