Sicily, much like the rest of southern Italy, tends to have a greater interest in the spiritual world. The Sicilians have many festivals to venerate saints and Mary and are heavily influenced by superstitions. Holy Spirit, we pray that You would open eyes to see how they are enslaved to the enemy due to traditions and superstitions. Open eyes to recognize Truth, repent, and believe in Jesus. Open eyes and hearts to join the work to set free friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. Open homes to start Bible study groups. Open hands of Sicilians. Sweep the island with disciple-making movements, bringing new life to the region and expanding the Kingdom of God.
