July 31 is the start of the big Eid, called Eid al Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice in the Muslim world. Eid al-Adha honors the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience. Most Muslims believe this son was Ishmael, not Isaac. Pray that Muslims will see that their righteous acts will never attain God’s favor. Pray that Muslims accept the finished work of Christ as their only means of salvation. Pray that Muslims will courageously share stories of dreams, visions and Christ’s love during family visits.
