“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2) ‘Paul’, ‘Timothy’, ‘reliable people’ and ‘others’ … four generations of disciples making obedient disciples.
Lord Jesus, we pray that this will happen among the Filipinos. May there not be the one teaching many but the many discipling multiple generations in a never-ending process.
Team Expansion Worker
Despite the many cancellations Omicron handed L and B, plans with the basketball court at a local school in a sensitive field have moved forward! L has spent the last two weeks instructing teenage boys in passing, dribbling, and shooting drills.
Please pray for L and B’s new teammates as they settle in and create new rhythms.
As L and B have gotten back into routines of being with P friends again, it has become glaringly obvious that the pandemic has had devastating effects on every part of their lives — from job loss, to living in lockdown with domestic abuse, to seeing their home country collapse into the hands of terrorists.
Pray for More Workers
Ask the Lord of the Harvest to thrust out disciple makers from the Philippines to go to the ends of the earth.
