“Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword.” (Heb. 11:35-37)

Father, we ask You to give all believers in Valor perseverance in the face of persecution. Surround them with Your comfort by the great cloud of witnesses that have gone before them, witnesses like those described in these verses.

Team Expansion Worker

A and T in North Africa ask for O* to take her step of faith and for her son to receive healing. They ask for your prayers that I* will come to know the Lord. Pray that God will continue to use N*s testimony so that many in her workplace will come to know Jesus. Ask for the development of the group that M* leads and for A* and his disciple B* and their house churches to continue to impact new families in their community. Praise God for Y*’s family. Pray for his parents and younger sister to soon make the decision to follow Jesus. Pray for the worship leaders who are being raised up in various groups through Tamara’s guitar classes. Ask for your prayers for S*, who has a job as a teacher and has been sharing Bible stories with his students. Also ask for his family to be converted. Pray for L*, his family, and the group that is developing in his business. Pray for the people with whom A* is sharing in his community outside the capital, for the group he has with his family, and for his disciple F* who also leads another group with his family. Ask for steadfastness during the persecution some of the leaders are facing. Ask for a disciple multiplication movement through the leaders in North Africa.

Pray for More Workers

Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more witnesses to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony in Valor.
